Viliv launched S5
Series,4.8” Mobile Internet Device with Window XP OS, touch screen and GPS built in on July 8.
Japan on July 27, 2009 - viliv (Yukyung Technologies Corporation)- The product,
viliv S5 Series launching sales hike to over 2,000 units sold.
Viliv S5 Series uses faster speed SSD (Solid State
Driver) which enables not only up to 7 hours video playback but faster running
Windows XP based applications than most net books.
Even before viliv S5 Series was launched to Japan, there
have been explosive and blazing responses and interest from major portals and
IT media such as Yahoo Japan, MSN Japan, PC Watch, ITmedia, Infoseek, Excite,
Aski as well as rising interests from users.
There had been some devices of viliv found in Japan, most likely brought from
Hong Kong, Korea and USA. However as viliv S5 Series adopts Japanese version of
Window OS, Japanese keyboard and favorable GSP software compatibility test was
done, through these kinds of preliminary preparations for Japanese market and
Japanese users’ favor of small sized devices, viliv satisfies Japanese users.

than 2,000 units have been sold until the last day of the launching event, July
